Pepe Fassos joins the Jury of IGCAT’s Top Foodie Websites Award 2026

IGCAT expert Pepe Fassos, an Australian organic farmer, and owner of Five Sixty Farms, joins the jury of IGCAT’s Top Foodie Websites Award 2026.

Born and raised in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Pepe is a qualified chef, audiovisual producer, certified organic farmer, and entrepreneur; in addition to serving as the Co-founder of Fusion Agrifood. His professional path has remained focused on food systems, transitioning from the hospitality sector into regenerative organic agriculture.

In 2017, he established Five Sixty Farms, an award-winning enterprise specialising in organic food production using traditional regenerative methods. While operating on a modest scale, the farm supplies local retailers, farmers markets, and hospitality venues throughout the Northern Rivers area. As the Co-founder of Fusion Agrifood, he helps lead a joint venture aimed at expanding certified organic horticultural production through innovative business models and robust market connections.

Previously, Pepe managed a 500K bird RSPCA-approved poultry farm, an experience that influenced his dedication to ethical, alternative agricultural systems. Currently, he serves as the Regenerative Agritourism and Gastronomy Technical Advisor at Regenerative Vanua in Vanuatu and maintains an association with the Global Agritourism Network. His expertise in organic production, food entrepreneurship, and agritourism offers a grounded, systems-based perspective for evaluating digital platforms that support sustainable gastronomy and regional food identity.
